We collect what a business enquiry requires and nothing else. There is no advertising network on this site, no third-party analytics, and no cross-site tracking.

Who we are
Devora Systems ("Devora Systems", "we", "us") is a software development and publishing firm registered in Ontario, Canada, with its office at 56A Mill St E, Unit 155, Acton, ON L7J 1H3. We are the organisation responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy explains what we collect through https://devorasystems.ca, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you. It is written to meet our obligations under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
We collect only what a business enquiry requires. There is no advertising network on this site, no third-party analytics script, and no cross-site tracking.
- Information you submit through the contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your company, the service you are interested in, an indicative budget range, and the content of your message.
- Technical metadata attached to that submission: the page you submitted from, your browser user-agent string, and the two-letter country code your request originated from.
- An irreversible hash of your IP address, used solely to limit automated form abuse. The IP address itself is never written to our database.
- Standard request logs generated by our infrastructure provider, which are retained by that provider for a short period and used for security and reliability purposes.
How we use it
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not send marketing email unless you have separately and explicitly asked to receive it.
- To respond to your enquiry and to carry on any correspondence that follows from it.
- To prepare proposals, scoping documents, and contracts where an engagement proceeds.
- To protect the form against automated abuse.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting record-keeping obligations.
Disclosure and service providers
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only to the extent necessary to operate this website and our business.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare, which provides content delivery, denial-of-service protection, and the database in which contact submissions are stored. Cloudflare processes data across a global network and may handle information outside Canada. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
Retention
Contact submissions are retained for twenty-four months from the date of receipt, after which they are deleted unless they form part of an active or completed commercial relationship. Records connected to a signed engagement are retained for seven years to satisfy Canadian tax and corporate record-keeping requirements. Abuse-prevention hashes are deleted after thirty days.
Security
All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit using TLS. Access to submitted enquiries is restricted to personnel who need it, protected by multi-factor authentication, and logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least privilege and keep the amount of personal information we hold deliberately small.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Write to hello@devorasystems.ca and we will respond within thirty days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may bring a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects information already collected, contact affected individuals directly.
